Anka Painting Co. is trained and equipped to install RPM Beglium's Matacryl 60mil thick waterproofing membrane. The concrete requires abrasive blasting to remove the existing waterproofing, dirt and any other contaminants. The bearing masonry plates are then caulked with a single-component elastomeric sealant, typically SikaFlex 1a. The waterproofing process begins by first applying a bonding primer. Once the bonding primer is cured the 60 mil (approximately 1/16th inch) thick coating is applied.
